Who are you? - My name is Craig and I am about to really go on and on and on about myself! I joined the T6 Forum as I have a transporter which is mostly a T5.1 but with a few T6 parts thrown into the mix and wanted some inspiration and found you fab folk!
Where did You come from? - Lightrofit was a concept in 2017 and established in 2018 after being made redundant as an installation engineer for an international insurance company fitting auto-electrical devices in brand new cars all over the UK.
So what can you do?! - Since starting, the business has grown far beyond what was forecast and this led to becoming authorised by VWAG UK for any and all diagnostic work using ODIS along with VCP and VCDS. This includes my own GeKo security access (Keys, Immobiliser components and Component Protection), SVM activations (CarPlay/App-Connect, new module programming) and dealer level diagnostic access. I also do head unit fits, Thatcham Insurance Approved Trackers, Thinkware Dash Cams and a whole host of retrofits such Cruise Control.
But what does that mean?! - It means that I can do a lot more than most garages when it comes to the modules, components and any other electrical magic. How can I say this? Because I currently look after dozens of repair garages and used car dealerships in and around South Wales for their dealer level needs. Main dealer can take 6-8 weeks for a booking, I can usually get to them same/next day.
