Little Black Cover!

Hi all - anyone help me with a part number for the little oval shaped cover - I’m missing one to the right of the tailgate lock as in the picture. Not vital but bugs me every time I open it!

I think it’s common to remove them to allow any water to drain out.
I have two on my tailgate, I took them out just in case.

I’m in the same boat - mine is not fitted with the child-lock function so the button is absent. Do VW make a blank?

I thought the smaller tabs that are further down the tailgate were for water drainage? I think the shape of the tailgate at the button part has a natural fall, so water shouldn’t collect there.
