London Area Auto Electrician to Install new leisure battery and solar panel?

If you're fitting new these days consider going straight for a LiFePo based system - a bit more upfront cost but higher capacity and likely 10 year lifetime rather than 2.

The Victron MPPT controllers are popular and well regarded around these parts and the Fogstar 105Ah battery seems to be hitting price/quality/service sweet spot for most.

Sweet. Thanks for the advice. I'll go for it. What price am I look at roughly ?

Are you going to be completely solar based?

If you want charge from the van then you will need a DC-DC charger.

If you want to charge from the mains/EHU you'll need a mains charger.

What are you going to use the leisure system for and how often, that would help folks advise. There's a big difference between what's needed for a few long weekends away at a campsite with a hookup vs. weeks of off grid road trips...
