Steering wheel upgrade
I really fancy a mk7 golf dsg steering wheel as raceline fit to there t6 vans , i am not a fan of the highline wheel at all. I wondered if anyone has ever messed with changing wheels, i dont no if the wires/plugs are there for a straight swap but it cant be much of a job if raceline do it ?
Dashboard modifications
time to kick off a new thread on all things dash related? My new top glove box has arrived today with piano black lid, let the fettling commence... Photos to follow when I work it out
Galley kitchen and storage on the man’s side and a fold out setee/bed. You can sit with the tailgate open and get a kayak/bike/other long things in.
It LWB which helps and there’s now a big drawer under the bed. The back rest cushions sit on on extensions (stored under the mattress/seat cushions) to make the bed full length.
You can get two seats in as it is a the front lower drawer unit comes out to allow 3 seats.
These pics are from the lockdown build and it s had a few tweaks since but is basically the same layout. Much better (IMHO) than reimo style beds.
Lots of different ways of doing like if you Google it!

Standard layout but a bit different.
Won’t be to everyone’s taste but I love it.
Favourite bit is the homemade potty/poofy.
It’s an invaluable extra seat for the other side of the main table.
And is perfect for sitting on cooking or doing the dishes.
Also like the passengers captains table.
Doubles up as a wee bar for outside and is so simple to fit and store.
Some pics before I fitted drivers swivel seat and purple VW logo on ceiling.

It's perfectly acceptable to say that something is not to your taste, but it's poor forum etiquette to bad-mouth someone else's van.
I thought it was quite amusing, having said that I’m not going to post a picture of my bright orange interior now!
