‘LVR’ / Dubstyle front spoiler for a reasonable price… I’ll report back on fitment.

I recently opened a thread about sensibly priced front splitter / spoiler options for my T6.1.

I opted for one of the 3-piece gloss black offerings, which looked ok but the joint in the middle wasn’t great and I think there could be too much gloss black on the front of the van with gloss grills and VW badge (I’m yet to fit the gloss grills set).

I stumbled across this last night. It’s plastic (not GRP) and the style I like. Very similar to the Dubstyle / LV one. With the voucher it was £113.49 which is, campared to the above a bargain. If it’s good quality it’ll be a win.

Just thought I’d share!

I didn’t want the gloss black extra splitter on the bottom because of some of the places I drive. Hoping this alone will do the trick!

Will do mate. To be honest, most of these things come out of the same factories anyway. I bought a OEM style tailgate spoiler for £28.50(!) and had it pro painted and fitted. They were amazed at the fit and quality. It’s identical to the one I bought for my last van which was several times the price.

I’ll post up when it comes, and when I’ve had it painted and fitted

Well I’m over the moon. Bodyshop fitted my grills too (for a fair price). It looks sooo good in my opinion.

The fit of the ‘bargain’ splitter was spot on.

Just the number plate and gloss black badge to go back on (can’t decide on a matte black or gloss black backing. I think the matte backing would make the gloss badge stand out more).

Happy days!

Looking good. Can I ask how much the paint shop charged?

That looks great. Where did you get the gloss black bits from?

Any info on the gloss plastic splitter you didn’t want? TIA

Looks superb, sadly looks like it's out of stock on ebay now lol. I'll pick one up at some stage though because it looks fab. You must be well chuffed.

Hi, the paint shop charged me £300 to paint and fit the spoiler, plus fit my aftermarket black grills (which meant taking the bumper off).

I bought all bits from Predator 4x4. They do regular deals and I’ve found their quality to be excellent, but also cheapest. The grills and the black splitter I didn’t want were all from there.

Thanks.
I'm a bit confused. Did you get the splitter from the eBay link or the Predator 4x4 site? Is there an additional bit that goes under the splitter you had painted and fitted?

Sorry for all the questions.
