Hi Gents,

Looking at getting a LWB kombi with tailgate.

Is it possible to have a set up with a bench which slides out to be a bed behind the second row of seats on say the passenger side, then a basin/hob/fridge and toilet opposite on the drivers side.
Vangear do a bed which is 1800 long by 1100 wide.
Any thoughts advice or products would be appreciated.

Cheers

Not sure if this might help?

The text is in German but the dimension lines are reasonably clear, the lighter grey outline shows the LWB extended length

Yes you can! I have!

The Ply Guys do various combos which fit behind a Kombi seat.
I have the Torridon + Clachan units (which gives me a 1.8m bed - although I take out my seat and have an bed extension cos I’m lanky and extra kitchen module too)!

The Torridon/Clachan combo is asymmetric: Torridon is much wider and gives you a good bench side seat…
…but there are other symmetric (same width) combos (the Assynt units) or a platform one with storage under (the Sutherland).

You could have the Torridon only and then a kitchen/shelf/storage unit down the side… they don’t do one for vans but they have it for Land Rovers and do custom/bespoke stuff. It’s all excellent quality. At a price of course!
