M1 tested bed

Hi, I’ve just bought an M1 tested bed which has come with certification from Millbrook. However, other beds I’ve seen have large steel plates to go under the van and sandwich the floor, done even bolting to the side of the chassis rails. This one has come with 8 Stella plates and 75 x 100mm which I’m not sure would give the strength required should it be involved in a collision with two adults on it. Any advice would be appreciated

Check with the issuer of the certificate.

As @Bav says the only sure way is to check with the certifying body.
Not wanting to get too morose but the human body has a fairly low tolerance to rapid deceleration, the seat may well not be the limiting factor in most cases.
