Main beam

Hi I have a main beam issue , main beam will come on with stock but won’t go back of unless I switch lights off manually, does anyone know of how to fix or have suggestion’s on what to do ? Thanks ian

Have you tried pulling the switch back (flash) to dip? On mine, the switch was replaced with a T5 version when cruise was fitted. This was a conventional type switch, whereas the T6 version is an auto latch. There seems to be a difference in how the BCM responds.

What year is your van? Have you got High Beam Assist enabled?

Hi it’s a 21reg highline , not sure if high beam assist is activated , I will need to check , is it easy to activate - deactivate ?

@Lightrofit just helped me to fix this on mine. There’s an adaptation setting accessible through VCDS that lets the van know whether you’ve got a momentary or latching full beam switch. Works a treat.
