Has anyone, or does anyone know, if you can make changes to a van you've already ordered?

I ordered 2 days ago and i think i want to change (read add!) a couple of things.

Give them a bell ASAP, or email them, then call Monday ASAP..

I think I'll drive over and see them tomorrow.

I prefer to see the whites of their eyes.

Here's a bit of advice as far as vw is concerned..

DONT assume, or take anything for granted or at face value.. Do an email, and get a confirmation of amended order back.. This gives you a paper trail....

So.. What are you up grading,.... Led lights? Defo worth it..

I have LED headlamps if that's what you mean?

I wanted to add power sliding doors and tailgate.

The dealer phoned today to say my order had gone through to the factory, but that i couldn't have side scan (not an option on a LWB), and the tyre pressure sensors are standard on the Highline. So i have a saving of around £350.00. After seeing the pictures from StudleyGlass of his power door motor housings I'd like to add them, and while I'm in there probably the 80ltr fuel tank.

I don't want to miss anything the second time so I'm going overtime looking though all the old threads on here!:D

Like the led headlights.. Have a peek at the forum and shop ref the dark tint rear lights.. They might be an option.. Not sure..

You should be fine to change the order. It's not "locked" in until it is "accepted" at the factory, and that's normally a couple of weeks. Get on to them and get it changed, shouldn't be a problem at all.

You'll be fine.... I changed my order and I'm sure I was a few of weeks in. It takes time to process and secure a build slot but they won't start the build for a few weeks so I'd say you'd be ok.
