Has anyone got / tried one of these?

I really like the idea of being able to take it to the beach with it running off batteries (which I already have) as well as running off the cars 12v.

I can’t find the specs anywhere but I’m assuming it’s a compressor fridge given the temperatures it can run at?

Funny enough I saw that fridge today when I was looking at the Makita UK website for some info on the new 18v grinder.

As for the fridge it's TE style, not compressor from what I'm seeing.... So a battery muncher and not very effective.

A nice addition to your team blue kit......

But I'll be sticking with my two compressor fridges for now.

Nice...

20l bit small for camping, but nice for keeping the beers cold while on-site doing a job.

Big bucks though...... o_Oo_Oo_Oo_O

Small change when you are a 5 minute walk from the van, on the beach, with plenty of cans at 5degC at the side of you. . . .

I’d be interested to know whether it also charges the 18v LXT batteries whilst it’s connected to the 12v van supply, I can’t seem to see anywhere it says that it does, if it did it really would be interesting

I doubt that..

Due to the cost and size of the 18v chargers...they have fans in them too.

That fridge looks like it comes with a standard 12v lead and a 12v PSU for EHU.
