MFSW coding help!!

Have fitted MFSW to my euro 6 van following chang1’s fantastic guide

Everything works but I’m getting the following fault codes when I do a scan

01748 - Tiptronic upshift button on strg. wheel faulty

01749 - Tiptronic downshift button on strg. wheel faulty

The wheel I have doesn’t have tiptronic buttons and the van is a manual…

Does anybody know what coding I need to do to tell it that tiptronic buttons aren’t installed?

Can you not just ignore them if they only show up on a scan ?

I could… but my OCD doesn’t like error codes so if there’s an easy way to get rid of them I’d like to do it

I think error codes are a way of life with this vehicle. In fact, to describe them as 'errors' could be ott as some as are just advisory.

T6 or T6.1?
I've just change my steering wheel to one with dsg buttons. In the gateway adaptations it's automatically picked it up. Maybe go in there and say not installed.

T6 - do you happen to know what channel the Tiptronic switch adaption lives on? I’m just gettting to grips with OBDeleven and can’t seem to find a list of adaptions

Not sure on a T6, but in a T6.1 and my Golf mk7 it's under Gateway.
