Missing usb in dash. Used in the head unit?

Hi all, I have a new T6 well 2018, new to me. It has no usb in the dash, reading on here it may have been used in the head unit, but unsure how as the cable and connector is still there and unused. Any thoughts on if I can simply buy the usb socket?

Theres also a few unused connectors behind the head unit, assimong these are old head unit connections? See pics

Is it possible the previous owner had an aftermarket head unit (that needed those wires) and they put back the stock unit when they sold the van?

Ooo that's a thought. Does an aftermarket utilise the same cable with the green end? Still not sure why the usb socket is missing completely.

The other end of the usb cable is connected into the back of the headunit (the yellow plug) so putting a new dash socket it should hopefully get it working again if the wiring hasn’t been messed with too much

Here’s a couple of pics I took when I wanted to get the USB working after fitting a pioneer head unit. They might help.
The big square plug with 02 S on it is the original USB that clips into the trim.
The other one you see was from new head unit.

No I had to open it up to fit a new bit that attached to my new head unit.
I will pop it back out tomorrow and take some pics for you. Will also have a look to see what the original wiring to it looks like.
Will take me 2 mins.

It's ok have found the part, thanks though £52 from vw! . Thinking I may buy a cheaper non oem connecter and route it in to the glove box to hide everything away away when charging things. Doesn't seem like anyone makes a glovebox usb socket for the square hole at the back though.
