Hi
1st time I've posted.
I'm in a little trouble with the t6 204bhp, I accidentally opened up the dsg oil filter when I was doing my oil change for the 1st time and a bit of dsg oil ended up pouring out.
Is the a way of topping it back up or am I going to have to get the van towed to a VW dealership.
Please help
Andrew

How much did you lose?
There’s a step by step how to change the DSG oil in here somewhere. A search should find it.

Thanks for fast response,
Basically all the oil in the filter housing,
See image attached of card board which was under the van at the time.

The DSG takes around 6 lts of oil

Where about is the DSG filter so I don’t make the same mistake when I change the oil in a week or 2. Thanks

It's at the rear of the engine, 24mm socket opens it. It's just above the gearbox on the rhs of the engine bay near the abs lines.
The oil filter is under the engine.
Please see images attached, this is the dsg filter.

I am so annoyed with myself, I've just done the same thing, trying to do an oil change on the drive 2 days before a 900 mile round trip to watch the World Cup DH in Fort William.

I don't think I lost much more than 50 ml or so.

Will I be okay to drive the van? I don't have VCDS and I have to leave Friday morning.
