Has anyone cut the bracket off a drivers side seat base to make the passenger side one ?

Do you mean handbrake? If so, yes (as a last resort). Easy enough, some welds are larger than others so be careful not to over damage the side panel. Will need to weld, fill holes and repaint afterwards
