Thanks for the reply. I have a short wheel base T6 3.2tonnes fitted with a 150cm Altair rib seat. I would now like the base moved forward as the rear seats when travelling are too far back and I’d like more boot space. If I’m able to undo the nuts and shift the back when we pitch up on the campsite all well and good. Duncan
The fitter said that they couldn’t move it any further forward as the chassis would not be able to deal with the support necessary and wielding would be needed. Duncan
Yes, that’s right for bolted seats. But you could get rails fitted and I think there are companies doing rails for the RIB seat.
The disadvantage is the cost and the height of the seat base.
