MPPT under passenger seat

I'm wondering if there enough space for a fogstar 105ah battery an orion xs and a victron MPPT under the passenger seat.

I'm looking for a plug and play solution at the base of the seat where I can use my portable solar panel

I was wondering if something like this could be mounted on the B pillar or the base of the seat ??

I sometimes use a 200W Renogy portable solar panel and just plug it in via an 50A Anderson connector that is located under the drivers seat and near to my MPPT controller. I just use the MC4 connectors at the panel end and Anderson at the van end.

More than enough room for a 105Ah battery and multiple devices.

Hell, if you're crazy enough you can fit a 230Ah in there, with an MPPT, DC-DC, Cerbo GX, isolator switches, fuse boxes etc...

Keep away from them MC4 connectors, they are designed for use in houses and the plugs are a bit of a shit to get undone, theres a specific tool that helps but they are not designed for constant connecting/disconnecting

I would just assess what power you are looking to put through the cable (what size solar panel) and get a 2 pole connector suitable for the job, it doesmt need to be anything solar specific

Just going through an identical thought process after asking questions on here and getting brilliant advice (Here). I looked at the Renology IP67 for simplicity, but worried about longevity, heat generated, and customer support. So now thinking XS Orion 50A set at 30A, Smart Solar MPPT 100/20 & Fogstar 105ah (I would prefer the 230ah underseat, and missed the BF deals and cant afford). Have an existing 150w roof panel, will look to be able to add a 150w portable panel via an Anderson plug. 95% there, just need to do more research. Will then post up summary on above linked thread and then do a specific build thread for peer review of my current draft wiring diagram.

Just to add its worth plowing through the various threads on this set up using the search as you can get 80% there and get better feedback from the gurus on here.

Also just to add that housing in your first post is not a connector its a housing for weather proofing. I use similar on my pop top and its great, but its pointless inside the van where you want a sound mechanical connection, you can plug and unplug. I havent researched that yet but I look at an anderson connector.
