MS Craft Swivel Seat fitting

Has anyone fitted an MS Craft swivel seat? The bolt down fittings under the seat, there is only 1bolt hole possible to thread into, when the seat is turned to the rear, and rocks/pivots as its only fixed down in one point. I'm wondering if they've missed a hole to be drilled? Just wondering if anyone else has the same issue?

Cheers,
Reece

A couple people have them here, I have heard they are a bit wobbly when swivelled, bit to much faffing around for me much prefer the Kiravans one, I just don’t like the fact that bits come detached and that the main storage area under the seat is rendered useless unless you want to unpack and pack away every swivel

We've just fitted one and don't fit any bolts to seat when swivelled, it's a great piece of kit for us and works well

Just put your gear stored under seat in a couple of poly bags and no hassle, must say we find this a far better swivel than the kiravans which we replaced

That sounds a bit odd. You might want to check you have pushed it back onto the base plate after swivelling. Loads more info here, no drilling required: https://www.t6forum.com/threads/gui...aft-t6-double-seat-sliding-swivel-base.18197/

Thanks mate, the bolt holes all line up fine, but there is only one hole available in under the seat when swivelled, and looks like they've only drilled the one. If 2 were drilled the seat wouldn't wobble i'd assume.

Not really sure of what you mean? There are fixings in all four corners of the place for the base and the seat. Opinions over which swivel is best differ widely but the sports craft seem to have more fans than the KV model. Mine has barely any play in it at all. Maybe the slightest bit of flex. Would have returned it otherwise

Having had a bit more real-life experience with ours, you only need one bolt to stop the slider from sliding, and once you bolt the front 3 bolts it's not wobbly at all. So it's a myth that they are wobbly

I am seriously thinking of putting this in my van.

Has anyone put one in a 6.1. (discovered the 6.1 has more than just external and cabin tarting up)

Also, my floor is an oak laminate which is 9mm thick with nothing on top, wondering if anyone with one thinks that might be an issue?

thanks

its designed like that why do you want to fully clamp it down you are Not meant to drive the van while the seat is backward and you cant see the N/S mirror. You just use the 3 bolts in and the cover it 's fine ... i'v not ever made mine wobble or move i carpeted the cover for a bit of warmth .
