hi guys quick question if i have cruise control on the stalks n my van can I have a mfsw programmed or do I need to change anything other than the wheel I have been told you need the right module to program it to work ? Not quite sure what module they are referring to lol hence me asking
thanks for any pointers

My bad I’m told the issue is wether it has the right pins to fit the wheel not programming so how do I check this please ? Thanks

I'm not sure how to link threads, but search this thread below. It has all the info you need.

Luckily retrofitting a MFSW with CC is easier if you already have CC on the stalks.

'[Guide] How To Retrofit MFSW And Cruise Control To T6 Eu6 2019 Startline - Also Hacking DSG Paddles For CCS'

Have a search on here. You'll need to do the following

Add two new repair wires to the clock spring on the steering column. One to +12v IGN and one to the BCM
Replace the airbag wiring loom for a MFSW airbag loom
Ideally replace the RH stalk for one without buttons - this is not essential but using the buttons will lock the wheel controls until you cycle the ignition again
Use VCDS or similar to code the MFSW

This is spot on.

Swoop, I haven't switched my stalk, seeing as I don't use it, and I've only ever knocked it twice in over a year locking out the cluster wheel buttons, and when the van is restarted the first buttons you use (wheel or stalk) will work again.

It's VERY important to get the wiring correct on the loom connecting to the wheel, as my MFSW standard loom had one wire in the incorrect place for the transporter, so I do not think it is as simply as getting any MFSW loom (FYI one with the yellow plug). The wires can be switched, and there is a wiring diagram somewhere on here for the correct pins.

Ok great thanks for all the answers/help what wheel would I need ? I was hoping this one is correct?

thanks again
That won't work. Wrong airbag and wrong buttons. Must have CNL button not Mode. Airbag needs hooks either side and not 3 springs.

CNL should be where Mode is. The centre button should be blank unless you have ACC

No

It MUST have CNL and not Mode. If you have ACC then the center button should look like your photo, if you don't have ACC then the center button should be blank.

That wheel has the correct airbag hooks.

Evening all
I have now fitted my wheel but am having problems trying to understand what wiring harness I need @Deaky has said 2 additional wires and the right harness for the airbag but as I have had the wheel fitted and I have no airbag lights on the dash I assume I have the correct fitting unless when I fit the additional wires it changes it ?? Also is there a dumbed down diagram of what needs doing with the extra wires as I have no idea what I need as I have not seen the connections
Thanks as always for help in understanding this
