MVM headlining not wide enough

I have bought some Mega Van Mats headlining to cover my 1 piece roof, however it's only just wide enough to cover it with barely any overlap. Is this normal? If I was carpeting any other panel I'd overlap by at least a few cm to give me plenty of material to stick to the back of the panel. In this case there's only ~5mm on either side.

As it's a foamy material it doesn't have much stretch so I'm not confident I will be able to get it to overlap.

I want to check this is right before I go sticking it down and fixing the roof to avoid tearing it back down.

How wide did it say it was on the website?

Try cutting 5mm off your roof both sides

Annoyingly there’s no room, my hidden clips are already pretty much touching the edges.

Well, mystery solved; it's actually only 1.32m. Fine if you've got a 2 piece roof but no good for a 1 piece (well, it would be if the description was correct).

Replacement ordered from Harrisons.
