New 6.1 steering wheel on T6?

Does anyone know if the new 6.1 steering wheel with the new logo is compatible with a T6? It seems to have all the same functions (with a couple that would be unused) and the buttons look much more modern and elegant. Plus it could be heated.

Don’t know, I’ve just looked at various sites selling it and they say 6.1 only not compatible with T6

T6.1 is a MQB platform, when T6 is still 15 years old PQ25 ....
direct swap not possible

I love the GTi T6 wheel, I think it looks better than the 6.1?
