New Member - Best Awning Rail For My New T6

Hi folk - Been a VW Transporter owner for a number of years now and I've just bought a late 2018 T6 modified by "Waverney Campers".

I'd like to fit a good awning but it seems to be a mine field to me. I really am looking for an awning rail to support a sheet awning just to keep the sun (when it happens) of me while sitting outside the van.

Looking forward to some guidance

Do you have a pop-top ?
This will determine where you can put a rail.

I got a C channel
Two actually, powder coated them black and fitted to pop top mountings, when roof is closed can not be seen

Yes that's right

Wash and wax day tomorrow before big trip so ill pop roof and take some pictures for you

Thanks I've bought and received mine just have to wait for my van ,so it can be fitted as they fitted it with the wrong colour interior (
I was due to have it the Ist of feb but they rushed it through and ended up wrong

We paid £220 for supply and fit..... Its a penny or two for a rubber curtain rail
