New member with questions…..

Hello everyone, we’re heading for retirement and are on the lookout for a decent T6 to convert - we already have our sight on a couple of local workshops who can hopefully fulfill our specific needs.
Now, I’m sure that this has been covered many times, but ideally we’re after a good example in the South Wales area, and wondered about dealer recommendations beyond Sinclair - all fine but very pricey (we lease our T Roc from them so happy with the service). I am hesitant to go for a private sale as I’m not confident in my ability to spot problems. Any non-main dealer options locally or just over the Bridge? Many thanks

I can't name, let alone recommend a dealer in your area, but I would suggest that a private sale through the forum could be an option for you.

Personally I'd only purchase from a well-established forum member (lots of posts and been a member for at least a year) rather than someone that's recently joined just to sell their van, but with that proviso, you're likely to get a van that's been cherished and well-maintained, and an owner that's unlikely to object to a pre-sale inspection of your choice (e.g. by the AA).
