New T6 Owner - Any advice welcome

Hello! I'm about to join the T6 Caravelle club, and the more I look at the practicality and opportunity with these, the more excited I am getting! I am hoping to pick up the vehicle shown below on Saturday. One question I have is whether it looks like its been lowered/whether its the size of the wheels or if my eyes are deceiving me. Does anyone know if there are any compromises or complications with lowering T6's? Thank you!

Welcome to the forum!
It looks to me like it might have been lowered and the rear sags a little. Many T6's are lowered and when done properly it will only improve the van.
There are several trade members on the forum who are experts but geographically you are probably closest to @CRS Performance who have a great reputation on the forum for all things related to T6 suspension.
You've got a great looking van there, enjoy!

Welcome. Nice looking van. It certainly looks lowered and as mentioned looks like it might be sagging slightly at the rear (a common issue and relatively simple fix). Have you driven the van and was the ride ok? If so then great, if not make sure you drive it before buying to make sure it is acceptable to you. If the van has been lowered with springs alone then the ride is likely to be very harsh and bouncy (unfortunately that’s how my van was done!). The fix for this is more costly, with either a swap back to original springs or new shocks (and possibly springs) to improve the ride and handling. Don’t let that put you off the van if all else is good, just budget for it in the future. Steve at CRS will be able to advise and quote I’m sure.

The Caravelles are 20 mm lower than a normal van. But that looks a lot lower than 20 mm so I suspect Some form of suspension kit is installed. Good or bad. ? Only you will know once you do few miles in it . If the ride is harsh over bumps it will need attention to get the ride a CAravelle should have. We can help and it isn’t a bank breaking thing to do so don’t worry .

With the back down like yours is the van rake is reversed. Usually the van slopes down slightly from back to front which helps transfer the weight to the front tyres, especially under deceleration, which in turn helps to keep the front wheels planted firmly down on the tarmac when steering. Getting that rake fixed should make the steering feel much better.
