New Van advice

Hi all, new to the site and hopefully soon to be a new owner for a T6.1.

I've read allot about the engines and for what I can understand the 150bhp is best suited to a camper, any advice on manual or auto?

Ideally id like a LWB model as some extra room, but I have also read these are potentially harder to live with in terms of parking etc?

I'm hoping to buy something around 2021 model, under 10,000 miles, with the usual extras, all the layouts seem to be very similar, although a leather type interior would I believe be the best option with a young child!

With such allot of specs on offer are there any must haves that anyone would recommend that could be hard to add as an extra down the road?

Any advice appreciated.

LED headlights and DSG imho. Heated seats and screen. Soft close slider.

Ours is LWB, and never had any parking issues in regular car spaces. LWB is perfect for camper - you get useable standing space when the bed is down for example.
