Noisy Fabworx bed on rails when driving - fine when people sat on it

Hi all

I've seen people discussing this issue, but could use some more detail on a fix. People have mentioned adding chair leg felts/floor protectors but no idea where I'd stick them?

Anyone solved this? Don't get any play or movement if I try and manually move the bed, but is a metallic rattling noise when going over uneven ground. If someone's sat in the back, all totally quiet though.

Thanks
Sam

We have a rail bed and no annoying rattles from that. Try plugging the seatbelts in and putting a bit tension on them, it helped with my previous van bed.

Also check that all 4 locks are in place. If one isn’t fully in the locating hole it can rattle against the rail.

Did you find the source of this rattle?

Mine has started doing this when it's at the back of the van, slide it to the front the noise stops.

I ended up driving up to Fabworx. They were great - swapped out the 4 rail bolts to ones with rubber handles, tightened everything up and realigned it all. Silent now.

I’d give them a call.
