Non reflective reflector

Noticed today when following my wife in our 2016 t6 shuttle that the nearside rear bumper reflector doesn't!! It looks ok in daylight but reflects very little light from any angle in the dark - I obviously need to change it but anyone else had this?

Odd.

Can you take a picture at night and see what it looks like?

Don't think that's a possibility - reflector is a single layer of plastic that clips into the bumper

This nuts.

Out of warranty for a 2016.

So might as well replace them both with new.

Is it a genuine part? I guess these are easily damaged and it could have been replaced at some point. If you had the van from new and know you’ve never replaced it then I’m stumped.
Water ingress and mould might be an issue but even then you’d expect some reflection I’d have thought?

I'll just change it - assuming that will mean bumper off? Was just intrigued why a plastic reflector would not reflect. I know it's not the original as I dinged that corner a couple of years ago when a telegraph pole jumped out behind me. I had some spares as I'd bought a second hand bumper when I converted it from a wav but no idea where they came from
