Oak panelling

Has anyone done the below to their van?

Just wanted to know if the panelling is the stuff you buy for your house and how you attached it?

Is it on top of carpet?

Don't know anything of it. But I like it.
Reminiscent of the old 60s italian speed boats.

Looking at it it looks like it's attached directly to a carpeted standard roof lining board, screwed from behind.

If you reverse image search it in Google using lens then you will find quite a few on various pages of different marques so if someone here hasn't done it I am sure you will find the answer - then when you are done you can come back and share with us all.

The stuff you buy for the house in places like B&Q is usually already fitted to a panel however that panel might be a bit too thick for a van install.

So this looks like a good option. Flexible and on 9mm thick so could go on top of my existing ply lining

Would it be a sikaflex job???

Wooden batons on the roof supports and screw between the slats with black screws for the roof. The sides in the image appear to be away from the sides so probably normal carpeted side panels with batons again before screwing on
