Odd Noise on tickover

I keep getting an intermittent grinding noise on tickover it sounds just like the old-fashioned bearings going on a water pump but seems to be linked to the fan has anybody else had this problem

Do you think the fan bearings are noisy or possibly catching on rad ?
You could try spinning the fan with engine off to see if it rotates freely and quietly

Thanks will check in the morning, got it booked in Monday, it's only intermittent and thinking about it it's when I've got all the electrical toys running, heated seats,screens,fans, I'm inclined to a belt slipping
