Found Offcut of bamboo (or possibility oak) worktop.

I'm after a piece of either bamboo or oak to make a connecting piece of worktop/hinged lid in my van.
It only needs to be approx 420mm x 520mm.
Ideally 18-25mm thick.
Can't seem to find anything without buying a full sheet/length of worktop.

Just wondering if anyone has any offcuts left in the back of the garage....

I only have a piece of oak 920 x 250 x 28...which if you cut in half lengthways (depending on which way your grain/joins run) and joined you could achieve your dims.

Free to a good home if you are willing to pay postage.

Apparently Hampshire Police are looking to get rid of some bamboo, if you know somebody who can turn it into worktop.....
