Hello everyone. Hopefully u can help me out. I’ve got the common fault of the oil pressure switch malfunction. Apparently there’s a green one as well as the brown. (Is that correct?) the brown one is easy to get to at the front. Can’t for thd life of me find thd green one. Thanks in advance

Hello, yes, that is correct, the green one is for reduced oil pressure, it is located above the turbo, at the back of the cylinderhead, not easy to find:

documentation says: at the back of cylinder head, which sits of course at the top of the block:)
I have the description just in german:

It's at the back and involves a mirror. I had mine done last year and the mechanic said he removed loads to get access to it and in his words it was 'a bitch' to do.
If you have access to VCDS you can check the oil pressure changeover valve function. Both my oil pressure switches were changed and the fault remained. Replacing the changeover valve sorted the issue.
There's a thread with it all documented.
