Good day all
Hope you can help. I've owned my T6 LWB STN 4M 2l since August last year. When I purchased it it soon came up with an oil service notification (NOT warning light, see example image). I contacted the seller who provided evidence that it had an oil change not 2 months ago, but to be safe I got another one done anyway.
Since then the notification has come on at startup very frequently, every few weeks. I put it down to DPF issues (now resolved) which could be diluting or mucking the oil and as there is no faults on the ECU I just reset the service using Carista.
After getting the DPF issue resolved (at least it seems to be, I have been tracking DPF and regen data, frequency and duration since) I got the oil and filter changed again for peace of mind. That was about 4 weeks ago.
So 4 weeks after oil change I am now getting a notification again on start up with a flashing spanner and the words 'Oil' suggesting I need an inspection/ service. I checked the level, its at 3/4 on the stick and looks fresh to me.
Any advice on what to do or something I should worry about? I'm kind of hoping the previous owner changed the service interval to mess with me lol!
