Build inspired by the Amdro folding bed.
Re-purposed an old Futon that was collecting dust in our shed (a good day of hard sanding!).
Some left over scaffolding poles & attachments I had after building my computer desk.
Harness straps hold the bed securely to the headrests and seats!
Window covers and poles strategically stored between the bed folds.
Scaffold poles deliberately left long as future mounting points ;-)
Result a sleeping solution on the cheap with loads of storage room beneath!
So glad I don't have to take out the Kombi seats anymore when me and my wife go away for a night or two!
