Various ways to organise drinks. The Waeco works very well, just need to make sure you can still get to your handbrake, and the lid opens enough to get at the contents. We (when I say We, I mean my Mrs) insists on having a bag in the seat gap for assorted rubbish etc etc, so I have to push the Waeco back, or the lid clashes with the arm rests when you open it. Set the Waeco to 1C and in around 1.5 hours the drinks are icy cold, no noise, low power consumption and battery protection system, whats not to like. Need to find a better fag lighter usb charger with an angle on it, as there is a wire/drinks clash using the vw drinks holders (which are a bit rubbish)
