Original Interior Light removal

Hi all, this may be a silly question but I can't find an answer..... Currently putting in the leisure battery and lights / sockets etc but what do you all do with the existing interior lights? The 2 rectanglular ones in the rear ceiling?

I don't really want them on show in the new ceiling as they don't fit the style - also figure I don't need them as I will have the other lights? Anyone got any clever ideas for them? 1 option is to just tuck them away behind ceiling/wall? If I disconnect the light and make the wire safe will I get warning lights somewhere all the time? What did you guys do?

Just uplug the interior lights.

No issues with fault codes.
