I bought this awning in Feb 2017. It has been used four times!
Unfortunately because of the types of surfaces (boat parks) where we tend to need to camp, this awning just doesn’t do what we need it to do. It is excellent on grass and normal camping surfaces, however boat parks are generally concrete/ very dense gravel/ block paving, all of which make for a very difficult surface to drive a peg through (even screw down pegs that you use an impact driver with). Simply put I need an awning with a frame that enables the awning to stand-up without having to be pegged out.

There is a tiny dirt/ mildew mark which is on the side where the van connects to the tent, so is hardly noticeable when the awning is in use, but want to mention it so as to give the most accurate description possible.

This awning comes with the footprint groundsheet (£30 optional extra), snug rug (£100 optional extra), and 4-berth inner tent (£100 optional extra).

If you want living space and sleep in the van, you can take the quad-pod down and the snug rug covers the entire floor.

If you want to dump the kids in the awning, the sleeping pod will sleep two in each side, with a zipper in the panel between the compartments so that they can be opened up inside.

This airbeam tent has built in pressure relief valves so that the beams can vent as the temperature of the day rises.

Comes with new style manual pump, as the top of the old style used to pop off whilst blowing it up. I mentioned this to them at the CCM show at the NEC in feb this year, and they simply handed me a new pump saying “sorry”! (Something tells me I wasn’t the first to mention it).

There are loads of windows all of which have a built in curtain. The main front door can open to either 50% or 100% width. There is then an additional side entrance on the side opposite the van.

It can be blown up in my back garden, so unlike those popular auction sites where you have no idea what you are gonna get till it arrives, you can come and see it, inspect it etc.

Comes with all original pegs and additional storm straps.

Cost me a grand new.
Will sell for £550. That’s a massive saving on what is virtually a brand new unit.

Loads of stockists on line that will give you better layout pictures and dimensions than I can. The 2018 fabric colours are identical to the 2017 colours.

Any idea how much delivery would be?

Manchester is a good 2.5 hours up the M6 from us.

The bag measures a good 70 x 40 x 50cm, and weighs in at 125kg.

Just done a quote from my house to Glasgow, and it would have to be on a specialist pallet courier, as a normal service won't carry as it is too heavy. It could go on a 1/4 pallet and would cost £70.

@DaveyB
I can get it from you to @Deaky next week, if that helps? Post on Forum delivery service
I'm heading to Leeds on Tuesday but it might prove difficult getting it to me as I'm in Conwy Saturday - Monday evening and if it is 125 kg I'll never lift that on my own. Thats 5 bags of cement.

Doh! What a t*^t, I forgot to minus my weight off it as I had to hold the bag whilst stood on the scales, in order to weigh it.
PILLOCK.
It will actually weigh 35kg. o_O
Look it’s been a long day, it’s late, i’m sure I can be excused.....right?

Ok, I can get a UPS collection and delivery for an item up to 40kg.
As it only comes with £100 insurance, upping that to cover the full cost of the awning, plus the carriage, comes to just shy of £50
