This review is overdue as we got back last week, but it would be remiss of me not to recommend to my fellow forum members that they rent @Sackmycook's holiday cottage in Northumberland.
The cottage is very comfortable, tastefully decorated and comes equipped with whatever you might need for a great family break - it genuinely feels like someone's cherished home rather than a rental property. Situated in the peaceful Northumberland countryside, both the coast (Lindisfarne, Bamburgh, Seahouses, etc.) and the Cheviots within easy striking distance.
