P0183 - coil warning light

Apologies - I’m new and I’ve posted this as a reply to a post marked ‘resolved’… I’m hoping reposting here might help!
My 2019 van has recently stalled at junctions a few times, which has been unusual... and I have since had the amber flashing coil warning light on the dash.
This thread helped me to identify some damaged wiring by the sensor as shown in other posts, linked to the fault code P0183 - Fuel Temp Sensor A Circuit High.
I’ve reset the warning with Carista though it does come back after a while, unsurprisingly, and sometimes with the engine warning light as well. It’s been like this for about a week, and today the particulate warning light has come on as well, though I’m pretty sure DPF regens have been happening as they should.
I have the van booked in at a local garage to be looked over next Tuesday - is it safe to continue driving it with a damaged wire - can it do any further damage? It's my daily driver and I have a daily 2 hour commute... Thanks in advance!

Hi @Daclarke35
Did you get this resolved fully?
I have the same fault codes and just doing some digging about on this forum.

I think I need a new loom for the fuel temperature sensor sensor as this has been changed but hasn’t solved the problem.

Yes - local garage sorted it - it was the damaged wires so they needed soldering/wrapping I think - no issues since. If you’re handy I reckon it’s fixable yourself from what I’ve since read. Check the wires around your sensors are not visible through the sleeves.

Thanks @Daclarke35
I’m just trying to source the connector as well as the wires, a local garage stated the wires looked ok but I’m not sure how far they looked etc so a new plug / wires then hopefully good to go.
