Partition curtain for pop top conversion

Hi all,

I'm after a curtain to partition off the rear of our van from the cab area where the pop top bed is accessed. I can't find any because the rail normally has to go across the van which will then get in the way when the pop top bed is raised.

Has anyone bodged/bought a solution to this?

Thanks,

Andy

What about fitting some screw in press studs / poppers to the underside of the pop top and then use poppers to secure some material. Our internal cab blind is material and secured in this way; screw in poppers on the b pillars and a pillars.

Presumably you've considered and discounted the usual solution - external and/or internal screens covers?

I can see the advantage of an internal curtain, but only if you were stealth camping - i.e. with the pop top down.

Hi, I bought a couple of Ikea 130cm x 170cm fleece throws (polarvide - no longer stocked, but available on ebay), and similar fleeces are available.

Originally used for stealth camping pre-Covid as a curtain behind the seats, but a year or two we were away and I had forgotten the external screen, so had to use the fleece for a few days. The static in the fleece meant it stuck to the carpet lining around the edge of the pop top with no other fixings required.

The photo show it in use, and in this instance the double passenger seat was reversed. If the seat is facing forward then the fleece is drapes down over the headrests and behind the seats.

Hope this helps.
