Passenger Central Locking Buttons - doable?

Hi all,

I've probably been spoiled in my Skoda Superb where there was a central locking button on the door arm controls for both front doors. When leaving someone in the car outside a shop etc they could lock and unlock the doors without leaning across or around the drivers seat.

I'm toying with getting a T6 central locking switch and a spare passenger side window switch panel that I can chop about but I'd rather find an assembly with the single window switch and central locking button off the shelf. So far nothing has turned up.

I also looked at LHD drive door switch panels where I could possibly get both windows working from both front doors (and blank off the mirror switch aperture) to reduce the likelihood of cack handedly ruining the interior :-/ )

Does anyone know if any of these things are available anywhere?
  • T6 central locking button for the dash
  • passenger door control panel with single window switch and central locking control
  • blanking plate for the mirror switch position in the drivers door control panel
I presume that I can go old school and connect a second switch in parallel with the existing switch by looping around the dashboard through the existing door grommets - I've also got some small canbus modules I can program with an esp8266 (electronics microcontroller ) or Arduino Nano to broadcast open and close signals on the canbus when the buttons are pushed (if there isnt a straight forward way to do this with VCDS)

Thanks

David
