Passenger seat adjustment

I want to extend the rearward travel on the front single passenger seat on my 2018 Caravelle. It appears that there's about 10 cms extra adjustment on the seat rails but its constrained in some way so it cannot be used. How might I overcome this constraint or find another way of extending the fore and aft adjustment. I don't want to loose any of the forward adjustment - just extend it rearwards

Does the drivers seat go further back? If so maybe something is preventing the passenger seat moving back fully. Some pictures so we can compare might help.

The drivers seat is the same as the passenger's. Its just by looking at the seat runners that you see that there's still some 10cms of travel that is unused and I would like to take advantage of it. You can see t in this picture where the runners on each side have not been fully used. I would like to get them to go further to the left (in the picture)IMG_2783.jpeg

@Captain Rick, firstly, loving the maritime theme and use of ‘fore and aft’ to describe seat movements!

You should be able to move the seat fully to the rear so the seat engages the runner on the last notch. It’s not quite clear, but it looks as though the seat is sitting on a different position on the left and right runner. This might distort the track when fitted to base. It may have just slipped during removal.

If this doesn’t work, you may want to take the frame apart to ensure there’s no obstruction and that the seat lever is allowing free movement (can be easily done with a socket set) and reassemble. It’s easily done.

Just an idea. Hope this helps.

Is that picture of the seat fully forward or am I seeing it wrong.
My thoughts as well considering the position of the handle.

Re. The left and right runner position, I think it's an illusion but it's also possible that the rear stop is only on one side, assuming that in the photo both rails are not locked.
While the runners may appear to have more travel available, the further out they get from the last roller(?) the weaker they become. The limits you are seeing may well be on purpose to maintain crash strength.
