Permanent live in d pillar roof lining

Does anyone know if there is a permanent live in the d pillar roof lining as I want to fit a couple low power leds via a switch on the rear tailgate as loading lights

Dont think so, you could pick up a supply from the interior lights but these timeout after a set time to stop you leaving them on and getting a flat battery so may not be suitable for your purpose ?

I think I’ll end up running a supply from aux battery I have under drivers seat

Recently acquired a T6 - located a "permantly on" 12volt supply in an unused socket at rear of vehicle near jack (as in photo)
Used it to supply better reversing lights at rear.

Lovely I’ll have a look for that, is that on the passenger side rear?

Passenger Side near jack, red wire goes into a blank (on mine) socket, not sure what for or where it is fused - I am drawing 5A from it , fitted 8A inline fuse near socket , used it to power extra LED reversing lights.

@Jim-T your a lucky man cause I stripped mine down today and there was nothing there, mines a t6 eu6 102 swb highline

Glen, mine is 132kw lwb eu5 spec. dsg. Just about to start fitting it out starting with extra battery etc. Finding it very different to my T4, especially the electrics.
