Hi, getting a halo 11 in the new year, and wondering where do people mount their phones with this head unit, which mount do they use?(quadlock?) a photo would be appreciated.

I’ve got the quad lock attachment for the vents, very wary of over tightening and destroying the vent slats. It’s ok but not sure it’s work the money tbh

I was serious, I've never had a phone holder in any of my vehicles, I've never understood the need to see the screen, especially now when you can do everything by voice command with Carplay/Android Auto, even reply to and send messages.

Get the pocket thing, but for longer journeys, was thinking a holder for charging , mainly.

I was serious, I've never had a phone holder in any of my vehicles, I've never understood the need to see the screen, especially now when you can do everything by voice command with Carplay/Android Auto, even reply to and send messages.

Wasn’t planning too I’m happy to make the design available for people to print (I’d have to check but I think I uploaded it to a 3d printing thread already)

Or if people can’t print themselves I could do a small batch and post them out at cost price

I have the same mount and it did destroy the vents in my t5.1. Lasted a few weeks but then one came flew out on a bump.
Moved that mount into the Golf which seems to be built better (probably a year of happy mounting in the golf!) and got the quadlock stick on mount for the dash. Where I have it would be right in the way of a halo though, but yeah - don’t use the vent mounts in a transporter.

I keep mine in the door pocket. Don't like having anything in my pockets when driving! Once it connects to the van, there's literally no need to touch it until I get out!
