I'm in the process of fitting some speakers, which is the positive, the little plug or the big?

Has one cable got a stripe on it? Or a ridge?

I’m going to back out of this because normally a stripe means positive but I can see material online suggesting that’s not the case with Pioneer speakers and that the small plug with the stripe is negative. Do you have a speaker model number? I should be able to find a manual online and help you get a definitive answer.
