I’m going to need to swap the tyres from my 20” wheels for a 40 profile to prep for solow air suspension on the new van. They are expensive tyres - Pirelli scorpion verde all season, with 7mm tread on 2 and 6 on 2. 250 a corner when new. Available in Solihull.

Are you going to 245/40/20? I didn’t think they did that size in anything rated above 99y. I think T28 needs 100 as the minimum so be careful that you meet the load rating.

No I’m going 255/40 for that reason. There’s one option at 245 but pretty restrictive so 255 it is. Don’t really want to go down to 35 profile.

Just an update on these. They will be available by end of this week. Only 3 are good as was noticed that one has a chunk out of sidewall where it was kerbed. Usable but wouldn’t recommend for long. Will take 150 for them. All have between 6 and 7mm tread so lots of life in them yet. 250 a corner new.
