Whilst preparing to cut a 64 mm hole in the side of my drivers seat base I lifted the seat base complete with handbrake off the four bolts and inadvertently lifted the handbrake lever, it raised with a number of clicks which I thought nothing about.
Anyway I cut the hole for the heater ducting and when I came to fit the seat base back with the handbrake lever down I had difficulty replacing the seat base as if the handbrake was full on.
I bolted the base down and tried the handbrake but it seams really tight to get it to the first notch.
With me lifting the handbrake with the seat base removed does it think that there’s lots of free play in the cable and taken the slack up on self adjusters, if so how do I readjust the cable.
