Powered side door - Jump back issue

Hi, has anyone had any issues with the sensor strip above the top roller set?

I'm thinking that the reason I'm having 'Jump back' when the door is 1/2 way closed is possibly related to an issue with the upper strip in the sensor guide rail above the top roller?

If I move the door by hand past the Jump back location, and use the internal door catch to close the door, it completes its journey and closes itself without issue!

Thanks

The top rail is a position sensor so the van knows at what point of travel the door is at, the pinch sensor is located in the rubber door seal that runs around the edge of the door itself
Strange that it’s a particular spot so prob not the pinch sensor ?
I guess a faulty position sensor could default to fail safe and just open the door ?

Yeah, trying to Google how it works, does that strip come out? Can it be repaired, or is it replace, how is it removed? How's it checked? So many questions I know... Hoping someone's been here before me TBH?

BTW, VCDS isn't flagging any fault codes either.

Is the door running tight on the runners? If the door is not running free it will ‘bounce back’ without touching the pinch strip.

Hiya, I've changed all the rollers including the upper sprung loaded sensor, the anti-pinch seal etc. All the channels are squeaky clean.

One thing I noticed earlier was that if I pushed up on the underside of the upper roller arm (with sprung loaded sensor) and the door closed all the way!! Maybe I need to adjust the lower roller arm a bit, to move the door up a wee bit.. or adjust the upper roller arm, if I can (to move the sensor closer to the sensor strip)?

Keen for thoughts on this one..

Thsnks
