Hi currently in the market for the above van, t6.1 less than 3 years old but unsure if things are way over or priced at the moment or that's what you pay, I've never owned a van so I know nothing about prices on these but looking everywhere pure grey/ascot (what I'm after) are sitting at 41 to 45k (the odd one with upgraded alloys/few bolt ones) is this

I've seen a few also done up with body kit, leather seats, lined inside, lowered, alloys etc for £50k to £55k between 7000 miles and brand new

I’m looking too and I think they are still overpriced. I’ve started to include startline 150bhp with business pack in my search. They don’t need much to spec them up close to highline, but the savings are quite large.
Also, keep looking on the VW used vans site. They occasionally have ones with no VAT which are a genuine saving.

Hi mate yeah grazy prices eh, I mean I don't mind if that's what they go for but I honestly don't know anything about these as tbh I've only started looking past month for a van with having a family.

I've looked at 110 startline which are a way cheaper especially in manual but I've talked to a few garages with these in stock and they recommend the 150 manual or dsg if can afford (no sales tatic as they had none) so that's what I've looked at but are these rare because autotrader only bring up around 20 with the spec I've mentioned above and as I say are over £40k for a untouched van but if that's the norm then fair do

The 110 in a panel van is much more popular. Cheap option for a business, don’t need something for their staff to razz around in. But 5 speed.
For me the 6 speed box is the deal breaker so that will be 150bhp. My current van is the 204 biturbo so I couldn’t imagine going to a 110.
Just keep looking out for a bargain. Maybe look at slightly higher miles.

Hi mate

True I suppose I Could go higher just always had lower mileage but seen one with 25k on dsg 150 T30 owned by Leighton and has all their kit on leather etc for £50k it's a 20 plate but again is that a good price for these I just don't know ha head is boggled ha

U reckon this will hold value on the t6. 1
Definitely. At least until VW realise their error teaming up with Ford & sales dive. A similar situation they did with the crafter/sprinter collaboration with Mercedes. They never learn.

Leighton vans do look the dog’s wotsits, but I can’t see £50k value in a 3 year old van with a bit of carpet lining and a body kit. But that’s my personal buying opinion.

I suppose it makes it a small market on resale as if u want a Leighton van u have to pay the price as I've even tried building one from a decent standard highline and with the add ons it's not far from 50k :/

I think my conclusion is there is no bargain vw.... Really haha

Leightons aren’t far from me & we looked at them when we were researching. They didn’t light my candle. A tad blingy & more form over function for my taste. But hey ho, each to their own.

Very true I mean everyone different i suppose, there's vans with nothing on them for 40k now which seem mental, from what I gather it's build whatever and charge whatever ha

I thought a brand new 110 startline in Grey with air con and heated seats plus reverse camera, Leighton alloys and front spoiler along with rear spoiler, lined with leds for £40k was a great bit from what I've gathered it's too much haha oh man
