Problems with Alpine Halo iLX-F905D - t6.1

Hi all I live in Nottinghamshire & have installed my alpine Halo to majority success, however my parking sensors don’t work / cone in the screen…
Also have fitted a non alpine reverse camera, this doesn’t come up or show anything at all. Have bought the alpine non alpine camera lead still no joy.
Any help advice on both would be much appreciated. @Dav-Tec could you possibly help ?

I’m sure the gurus who know more will be along shortly to put you straight but firstly as a start, did you use the Alpine interface and secondly have you turned on the camera 1 in the settings ?

Hey! I think so? Have used the Connects2 Installation Kit with E-Call Retention CTKVW52 for VW Transporter if this is what what you mean? I have noticed also, the majority of the stuff works like steering control etc but can’t get to van settings, I know you can press the voice control 5 times, however that doesn’t work, also I’ve seen on the settings Can box disconnected? Surely the other stuff wouldn’t work would it?

Not sure, but I know everything just works when you use Alpines interface. I’ve seen loads of threads where things don’t work as they should and the first thing the folks in the know will ask is if you used the Alpine interface.

On mine, there is a check box for the camera 1 and others if you have them.
Alpine 303 install kit used.
Also reverse sensors and park pilot automatic when placed in reverse. All mfsw controls work and uses the vehicle’s original mike.

Just do a search for Alpine VW303 kit. There’s loads selling at various prices around £200 mark. I assume you already have the dab retention and usb retention cables. You have obviously got the rest of the kit so you really only need the Alpine 303 interface and quad lock connection. Got mine from Car Audio & Security, very helpful on the phone, or you may try one of the guys on here who can help you out with just the interface without buying the whole kit with pocket etc.

Sorry, just noticed you’re 6.1. Mines a t6. But I’m sure you still need to search out the proper Alpine interface.

Have spoken with Dynamic sounds and are saying it’s an installation issue of the ctkvw52, which is the alpine interface, does anyone have any ideas as to what’s gone wrong ?

I’m sure if you get in touch with either Absolut5 or DavTec on here they will be able to sort you out with the correct gear. DavTec is your way as well I think Chesterfield. From what I can see the Alpine interface is X320MIB , but those guys will know for sure.
