Purchase second hand stereo for CarPlay?

Hi does anyone know if I can buy a second hand T6 stereo and make CarPlay work alongside ensuring my parking sensors still work. Or do i have to go down the aftermarket route ie Kenwood etc?

You’d need to get it unlocked to remove the component protection. Think it costs around £100

I can supply and if needed fit a discover media unit which was the top spec unit VW fitted to the T6 along with other vehicles at the time. You'd have built in SatNav, CarPlay etc. Alternatively we can supply and if need fit other kit too.

If you already have the unit I can unlock this for £75 and if needed update map pack and speed camera locations. If the unit isn't fitted you can post it me I can sort it all out and send it you back.

Yeah can you get into adaptation with obd11 if so I can rectify the software errors just needs resetting so it understands it's been upgraded without ODIS. The GPS fault will remain though as that will be an actual issue by the looks of it.

When I do the unlock remotely it leaves these faults. There nothing to worry about but without going to an adaptation channel I can't do anything about it.

Who did your unlock? Was it me? I don't remember doing it.
