Radio coding - Bluetooth pairing at speed

I have had a google but I've had no luck with the following.

Some of the radio functions (i.e. bluetooth pairing) gets disabled at certain speeds.
It's not uncommon for us to want to pair the kids phones/ipods up while we are moving, is the a setting for the radio to allow changes while moving.
It's a pain to have to stop to pair up a device when my partner can do it as I drive.

I'm not sure if this can be changed.

I think its baked in the radios firmware as a safety feature.....

Can be annoying, but easily over come if a devices are paired at the start of journey.

Try turning off the phone the van is paired to and then connect the other one?

The iPods are the issue. Because they are older they always need the bloody pin.
